Parks & Pools

The Town of Neversink has various parks that are open to the public.

Town of Neversink Community Park

The newly constructed Route 42 Community Park is used mainly for Little League but is open to the public for use.  It has four fields of various sizes.  There is a paved walking path around the park that is a little over one half mile.  This park also has a pavilion with a kitchen and public restrooms.  All organizational and groups are required to contact the Town Clerk’s Office before use.  The Clerk’s Office is located at 273 Main Street in Grahamsville or call 845-985-2262 ext. 300 or 307.

The Grahamsville Fairgrounds is where the Town’s Pool complex is located.  Pool passes are available for an annual fee to Town of Neversink residents only.  In addition to the pool, there are courts for tennis, pickle ball and basketball.  There are fields that can be used for baseball, softball and whatever else you want to play.  All organizations and groups are required to contact the Town Clerk’s Office before use of the grounds or pavilion.  It has public restrooms, a kitchen and picnic tables.  The roads in the park are used daily by many walkers for exercise.  In August the grounds are used for the Grahamsville Fair.  Many other annual events are held at the fairgrounds.  To get into the park you cross the Chestnut Creek through the Chestnut Creek Covered Bridge.  The use of the Pool is for Town of Neversink residents only.  Season Passes are sold at the Town Clerk’s Office each year.  The fairgrounds are open to the public for use.  All Organizations and groups are required to contact the Town Clerk’s Office before use.  The Clerk’s Office is located at 273 Main Street in Grahamsville or call 845-985-2262 ext. 300 or 307.

Pool

POOLS

There are two pools in the Town of Neversink.  One pool is located in the Hamlet of Neversink is owned by the Neversink Fire District and is available for use by residents of the Neversink Fire District free of charge.  The other pool is operated by the Town of Neversink and is located at the Grahamsville Fairgrounds in the Hamlet of Grahamsville.  This pool is open to all residents of the Town of Neversink.  Permits are required and are issued in the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall.  There is a fee of $15.00 per person with those under 3 free.  Both pools are open daily from 12:30 to 7:00 weather permitting for the summer season. 

The Town of Neversink offers a Summer Swim Program that runs for approximately 5 weeks.  Both pools are utilized for the program.  The program is open to children who reside in the Town of Neversink and/or the Tri-Valley School District.  There is no charge for the program.

Bicentennial Park is located across the street from the Town Hall.  This is a small park filled with flowers in the Spring and Summer months.  It also has a gazebo, benches and a fountain.  It is the site of the Town’s Annual Holiday Tree Lighting on the first Sunday in December.
